D2 Solar LLC (D2) was established to expedite growth in the Midwest solar industry by providing affordable solar in the region. D2’s business model is designed to create new solar customers through consulting services and equipment sales.
We will track the amount of carbon emissions reduced by our solar projects and our shipping practices.
History
D2 Solar’s formation was motivated by a desire to improve social and environmental conditions through solar energy, and to help the region realize its solar potential.
Diane Van Buren and Diane Cheklich, the founding partners of D2 Solar, are experienced business people and environmental advocates who are dedicated to expanding the solar marketplace. They have laid the foundation to build a successful company that will make its mark in Detroit and throughout the Midwest. And they’re nice people!
Goals
We intend to facilitate 10 megawatts (MW) of new solar installations by 2024. We are motivated to Get Shit Done!
